House Hippo Dog Robe

Not only does my pup look cute in this, it helped him dry off faster instead of being a rollie pollie on my couch and bed.

My son and daughter-in-laws' dog, Miska is a short haired dog and gets baths regularly. They said he was warm and comfortable after his last bath. They buy from Tooth and Honey regularly and this was Miska's birthday present. Good quality products. Thank you!

I discovered tooth & honey when I had my previous dog Brando. I rescued him with a terrible case of mange that took years to get a single layer of fur on him, so he was always cold. Tooth & Honey were the only clothes that fit him properly, kept him warm and made me jealous that I couldn’t wrap up in his clothes. Now I have a 130lb mastiff with a double coat who is always hot and detests clothing so I’ve been sad to not have opportunity to use anything from this brand. I ordered the House Hippo robe for after baths as Otis also hates being dried with a towel or using a blow dryer. We haven’t used it post bath yet but I’ve been surprised that he’s let me put it on for 5mins at a time to get him used to the idea of wearing the robe. And it fits him great!!!

Good material, good design, well made. Easy on, very functional, easy off, though she really loves wearing it, not just to soak up the drips after a shower, but for a total body snuggle. We plan on using this as a jacket for those chilly dashes out to the yard and as a house robe for lounging around. Any dog as dignified as she who would so kindly pose for such a silly photo really deserves a second bathrobe, don't you think?

As soon as we got it out of the shipping bag and I held it up, she started to squiggle into it, disregarding the heat of a summer day. This made me realize that beyond being perfect for a spa day to soak up the drips so I wouldn't have to swab down the walls and floor, it is an ideal hoodie for a dash outside or to lounge around during the chilly seasons. The design, materials, and construction are all top notch. Mia had a very hard life before being rescued and although she has adjusted to the good life, she still loves that extra feeling of security from being swaddled in soft clothing. This absolutely fits the bill. She doesn't want to take it off.
